GOS Blog has just posted about some of the new policies that are applied to Picasa when you join the Google Plus social platform.
There are two major policy changes that are bothering in nature:
Tagging a person in one of your photos in Picasa Web Albums or Google+ will share the album with the person tagged.
Including an +reply in a comment (including +name or +email address) in Picasa Web Albums or Google+ will share the album with that person.
As you can see, tagging/sharing an individual photo would share the entire album with that person. And that person would get the ability to share it further.
This is a major cause for concern because an album can contain hundreds of photos and most of these can have no connection to that person.
Google should have allowed the users to retain more control over their albums.
