Google has revealed that the Android Market is now home to more than 38,000 mobile applications.
The company further stated that they are currently activating as many as 60,000 new Android devices per day.
Google Android as per some reports is currently powering as many as 34 smartphone models from more than a dozen manufacturers.
It has become the strongest challenger to the domination of Apple iPhone yet. Though Blackberry, Nokia and Microsoft are all preparing to launch their updated editions this year.
