Google has updated a setting in Gmail that allows you to change the number of mails that are shown per page.
The service has until now offered three options: 25/50/100.
Now there are more: 10/15/20/25/50/100.
The advantage of picking a smaller number is that it would speed up the load time of Gmail.
It also is beneficial if you are using their recently launched preview pane in horizontal split view.
