Miniature and versatile, the addition of this new signal conditioner will further establish FISO's position as the leading developer and manufacturer of fiber optic sensors and signal conditioners.
Internally developed, the new platform is ideal for both single and multichannel OEM customers in the medical and life science markets. The main technological gain resides in a volume-size reduction of more than 40%, making it the go-to signal conditioner for applications requiring a small foot print. In addition to the volume size reduction, the unit's technological advances provide improved accuracy and a significant reduction in power consumption.
The resulting benefit from the innovations contained in this new signal conditioner is an advancement in patient care, as its small size allows patient monitoring under new conditions. This product will join FISO's complete line of signal conditioners and be accompanied by tens of thousands of FISO's fiber optic sensors, which are already sold and used in medical facilities all over the world. In addition, many units of the new OEM signal conditioner have already been produced and several have already been integrated in end-client consoles and monitors.
