Facebook has updated their mobile app for the Apple iPhone platform.
The app now allows you to check-in at events.
Facebook has also added a new maps view for places that allows you to see the location of all your friends at any given time. Interestingly enough, this feature uses Google Maps and not Microsoft Bing Maps!
Facebook for iPhone also now allows you to unfriend any of your contact right from your phone.
There are also improvements to newsfeeds and notifications.
Remains to be seen when these features would be launched on their mobile app for the Android platform.
