Consumers have something to look forward to this holiday season, lower prices on flat screen T-V’s, computers and camcorders.
Retailers said many electronics previously priced at higher numbers are now at record lows.
The average price for a camcorder was $360 last year, now the average is $275 and shoppers say they may purchase more, now that prices are lower.
“It’ll definitely encourage people to buy things that they wouldn’t normally buy just because the prices are lower said shopper, Julie Gisler. You know, before the prices go up.”
Retailers say they expect the decline in prices to result in a sales increase.
