More than 400 resellers were browsing the booths at the D&H conference in the Mississauga convention centre on September 11th. The 40+ manufacturers showcased the latest in notebooks, laptops, tablets, printers, accessories and much more. Cisco, Hewlett Packard and Lenovo provided seminars to showcase their latest technologies.

"The event is getting bigger each year", said Greg Tobin, General Manager from D&H Distributing. "One highlight that everybody was thrilled to learn more about was 3D printing".

The goal of the event is to educate the reseller on new products and programs from the vendors. D&H biggest shows are in Montreal and Toronto, with the smaller events in Ottawa, London, Calgary, Edmonton and Halifax focused on technology sessions for around 35 to 50 invited resellers.

Mr. Tobin said, “The hottest level of growth that we have seen in the market is actually in computer systems. Desktops, notebook, tablets and monitors are very strong right now. Input devices, printers, scanners and consumables are also doing well”.

"Very solid back to school purchase pattern this year, even stronger than previous years. We believe that this trend is going to continue just right through black Friday, cyber Monday and we believe the Holiday Season should be just as strong for us. We see a strong growth rate of over 20% for total business." adds Tobin.

At the end of the showcase, everybody enjoyed the Hawaiian inspired reception with drinks and munchies for one last opportunity to chat with their peers.
