US based personal computer maker Dell has announced that they are now acquiring 3PAR.
This deal is worth around USD 1.15 billion.
3Par is a major player in the data storage industry and Dell has been working hard to boost their own presence in this segment of the market.
Their rivals in this space include giants like IBM, HP and Oracle.
Market analysts believe that this is a very good strategic purchase for the company and it would be very interesting to see what they come out with next.
