D-BOX Technologies Inc, a leader in innovative motion technology, announced an agreement with Universal Pictures for the April 29 release of Fast Five, the fifth installment of The Fast and the Furious series. This follows the highly successful world debut of D-BOX in commercial theatres with Fast & Furious, the fourth franchise installment, in April 2009.

“It is a pleasure to once again work with Universal Pictures, as the studio supported our initial foray into commercial theatres in 2009,” said President and Chief Executive Officer of D-BOX Technologies, Claude Mc Master. “The content of this particular motion picture series gives us a fantastic opportunity to showcase our refined motion effects and offers a truly immersive movie experience. With the addition of Fast Five, we are looking towards a summer of exhilarating and dramatic new content that we will continue to announce in the coming months.”

In Fast Five, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed. In this installment, former cop Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) on the opposite side of the law. Dwayne Johnson joins returning favorites Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon and Don Omar for this ultimate high-stakes race.
