"Ontario universities already have many rich resources available for students and graduates," says Max Blouw, COU Chair and President of Wilfrid Laurier University. "MyCareerInfo.ca is an extra resource to help students find the help they need to translate their skills into meaningful work." "Universities teach our students so much more than what the name of their degree suggests. They teach creativity, critical thinking and problem solving, intellectual resilience, and how to clearly communicate ideas," says COU President and CEO Bonnie M. Patterson. "This job site will help students find the resources needed to transfer their skills into a career that fits with their education, competencies and passions, and point them to the rich resources available on campus through career and student services and elsewhere." The student-friendly site features resume and interview tips, online budgeting tools, information on job market trends, and extensive job listings. It also provides easy access to university career and student services, and is updated regularly with the latest news from the marketplace.
