Have you recently upgraded your computer equipment? Are there unused computer components in your closet or basement? The electronics and e-waste you have been hanging onto may be able to benefit Syrian refugee families or others in need.
Computation Ltd. is hosting a computer recycling drop-off event and will donate a portion of the material it collects and is able to refurbish to refugees who have recently arrived in the GTA.
All equipment brought to Computation Ltd. during this event is guaranteed to be:
accepted for FREE (in residential quantities – for large volumes, pick-up, or corporate requirements contact us to make arrangements)
have its data securely destroyed to protect your privacy
Depending on its condition, equipment will be refurbished for reuse or recycled according to the highest environmental standards.
Items will be accepted from Monday, February 8th to Sunday, February 21st, 2016.
Location: 280 Jane St: Mon-Fri 10am to 7pm; Sat-Sun 10am – 6pm
Computation is a private business undertaking this drive in support of the efforts of the Ryerson University Lifeline Syria Challenge ( www.ryerson.ca/lifelinesyria/). The quantity and condition of the equipment collected will determine the scale of Computation's contribution to the refugee network. Computation does not guarantee that all items accepted during this drive will reach refugee families. All e-waste will be diverted from landfill via reuse and recycling.
