Channel Intelligence, Inc., a Florida-based commerce data interchange services company, announced today its expansion into Western Europe with the opening of an office in Geneva, Switzerland. The new office will provide sales and marketing support for new, Europe-based clients as well as for existing Channel Intelligence Global 500 clients with a Western Europe presence.
“We see this as a natural expansion of our business, as many of our clients are increasing their commitment to our commerce data services by adding their European operations,” said Rob Wight, president and CEO of Channel Intelligence. “This is the start of our phased plans which include an increased presence in Western Europe with a network of in-country sales persons to handle localized sales and account management support,” he added.
With prior experience in Europe, Shailesh Adhav, Managing Director of Europe Sales, will lead the expansion effort which will include localized sales in Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and The Netherlands. Mr. Adhav has held various financial, project management and sales positions and has been with Channel Intelligence for almost six years, based in Celebration, Fla. Client companies with European operations currently using the Channel Intelligence SellPath™ services include Epson, Philips, Kodak, Plantronics, 3Com, Hitachi, Logitech, Buffalo Technology and Zoom Technologies.
