Just in time for the Fall fashion season, CF Toronto Eaton Centre  (CF TEC) has unveiled their new level two expansion featuring many of the most sought-after retailers, including: Saje Natural Wellness, Lacoste, Thomas Sabo, Torrid, Pandora and more.  The expansion marks the second beat of a three-part plan that is set to further cement CF TEC as a leading fashion destination for Torontonians.

The 71,000 square-foot expansion will bring significant change to the centre and its 48 million shoppers per year; connecting downtown Torontonians with the hottest fashion trends.  The redevelopment boasts 23 new retail partners including, first to market retailers such as Torrid, Uno de 50 and SHOO by Steve Madden, their first new concept store. With the new expansion, the H&M at CF Toronto Eaton Centre will be the largest location in Canada for the H&M brand in 2016.

CF TEC PRESENTS FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND MOBILE CLOSET

To celebrate the landmark expansion, CF TEC will showcase the impressive roster of best-in-class retailers on the first ever, Mobile Closet.  Taking 'pop up' to a new level, the first-of-its-kind streetcar-turned fashion hub, will become a temporary showcase for many of the Fall fashion must-have items hitting retailers in the property.  The closet will make its way across the TTC's 501 Queen West streetcar line, visually connecting passersby with the latest seasonal fashion now available at CF TEC's level two expansion.

CELEBRITY STYLIST ELIZABETH CABRAL LEADS MOBILE CLOSET CURATION

With a focus on providing a fashion forward mix, celebrity stylist Elizabeth Cabral is leading the curation of the closet.  A Torontonian, currently residing in New York City, Cabral brings her recognizable sleek, sophisticated street-style to the Mobile Closet, inspiring fashion lovers to head to CF TEC and shop the look.  With a keen eye for style and a unique fashion outlook, Cabral has made a name for herself in the fashion industry by working with an impressive list of celebrity and high fashion clients including A-listers such as: Beyoncé, Olivia Wilde, Lindsey Wixson, and Kiera Knightly; and notable fashion houses including: Burberry, Herve Leger and BCBG.  Brimming with fashion knowledge, Cabral will bring a mix of NYC flair to an already stylish Toronto fashion set.

FASHION CONNECT DEBUTS IN CF TEC

Can't catch the street car? Not to worry. From September 30th to October 29th customers can head into CF TEC to take a peek at all of the curated looks.  The installation goes hand-in-hand with the launch of the TEC Fashion Connect campaign which focuses on bringing the latest fashion trends straight off the runway and into the hands of Toronto shoppers. 

As one of the official shopping destinations of World MasterCard Fashion Week (WMFW), in conjunction with CF Sherway Gardens, the campaign will further entrench CF TEC as the premier downtown fashion destination. WHAT'S TO COME…

In addition to the recent openings of Hugo Boss, kate spade New York and the first REISS store in Canada, the property's redevelopment and remerchandising strategy continues to expand with a third beat of retail partner openings. In November, the property will help Zara welcome its newest concept store going from a one-level 13,308 square foot store to a two-level 27,695 square foot shopping destination. To complete the focus on best in class retail centre is poised to welcome Saks Fifth Avenue (Spring 2016) and Nordstrom (Fall 2016) this year as well.
