Ceryx announced that it has been selected as a
finalist in the Solution Awards for Advanced Infrastructure Solution of the
Year at the 2006 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards. The fourth annual
Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards acknowledge the exceptional work
technology partners in Canada are doing with Microsoft-based technologies and
software to deliver innovative solutions and unmatched value to their
customers.

“Each year, technology partners continue to raise the bar in technology
innovation and reaffirm their ability to deliver specific solutions that help
meet customer demand,” said Lora Gernon, Director, Partner Group, Microsoft
Canada Co. “The 2006 finalists demonstrated strong expertise in a diversity of
markets and the Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards celebrate the
innovative solutions they developed to help drive real business growth.”

Ceryx was chosen as a finalist in Solution Awards for Advanced
Infrastructure Solution of the Year for their highly available Hosted and
Managed Exchange services. Ceryx pioneered the 100% SLA to the Exchange
messaging community and to date is the only company with the technology
capable of backing up the guarantee.

Email is the most mission critical business tool for communications with
employees, vendors and customers. Ceryx responded to this need by creating a
system that offered unparalleled uptime and performance capable of
withstanding any type of disaster coupled with an integrated, industry leading
solution for controlling spam and virus threats.

Ceryx built a Hosted Exchange 2003 (HX) infrastructure that is fully
geographically redundant with no single point of failure that could affect the
customer’s ability to use their messaging or collaboration platform. Ceryx has
incorporated unsurpassed levels of security into the solution to ensure that
all malicious activity is barred from entry at the geographically redundant
perimeter.
Customers have benefited from the solution by substantially higher
availability than a traditional clustered Exchange infrastructure at
considerably lower operational cost. Partnering with Ceryx has given customers
the opportunity to receive quality and highly available email, hygiene, real
time business continuity and disaster recovery services from a single vendor
at one low monthly cost per user.

“We are very pleased to be an Impact Awards finalist for the Advanced
Infrastructure Solution of the Year. We consider this an honor and credit to
our customers for whom we have been delivering highly available messaging and
collaboration services. Email and messaging services are critical for their
business, we understand that and think we have the best solution in this
market space,” said Gus Harsfai, President and CEO of Ceryx.

Ceryx, along with other technology partner winners and finalists in each
of the award categories, will be honored at a gala event in Toronto on
November 2, 2006.
