“This great recognition underscores Seagate’s unwavering commitment to
delivering the industry’s best storage products and support and programs to
our channel partners not just in the United States but worldwide,” said John
Vossoughi, vice president of Americas Sales and Marketing at Seagate. “We will
continue to drive technology and channel program innovation in an effort to
help our VAR and integrator partners build even stronger businesses.”

The Best Channel Vendor recognition was based on a Web-based survey of
1,600 Business Solutions Magazine subscribers. To ensure statistical accuracy,
scores were calculated by Penn State University and the magazine’s editorial
staff.

Seagate received high marks in each of the six vendor-partner categories:
Product Features, Reliability and Innovation; Service/Support; Channel
Friendliness; Channel Program Quality; and Adequacy of VAR Margins. Seagate
was rated the top vendor in the Storage category. Other technology categories
included VoIP, Wireless & Mobility, Networking, Data Collection Hardware, Data
Collection Media, General Computing, Managed Services, Payment Processing, POS
Hardware, POS Software, and Security.

The Seagate Partner Program, Seagate’s flagship program for VARs and
integrators, is designed to provide system builders and resellers with channel
programs and tools to grow market share, increase profits, and accelerate
their time to market. The program focuses on providing national, regional and
local whitebox and whitebook system builders with the technical expertise and
marketing resources needed to deliver Seagate storage to a broader range of
customers.
