BlueStar, a leading global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, was recently tasked with finding a carrier manifesting solution that would allow various sized carrier labels over simply producing the standard 4X6 carrier label. Several key accounts have asked that in addition to the standard carrier data, that supplemental order and delivery information be printed on the manifest labels. To accomplish this feat, BlueStar had to upgrade each manifest station to a printer capable of printing on a "continuous feed" style label .
Understanding BlueStar's need, Zebra graciously provided the distributor with 32 ZT230 printers. Like all products in Zebra's ZT200 series, the ZT230 is easy to load and adjust, so it requires minimal operator training. BlueStar's IT staff appreciated its backwards compatibility, since that meant the new units could be up and running with minimal time and effort.
An ideal replacement for previous generation Stripe and S4M models, the ZT230 has multiple connectivity options, including Ethernet and 802.11a/b/g/n wireless that enable rapid printer changes and upgrades. It delivers exceptional print quality and precision, and maintenance is simple, with only a few basic tools required.
