Research In Motion has confirmed that some of their customers face problems with their Blackberry email services.

The company said that the problem was not system wide and only a small section of customers were affected.

Reports online say that customers were also not able to create new accounts, access their Internet mailboxes, integrate third-party e-mail accounts, or view e-mail attachments during the time of the outage.

RIM has now stated that the problem has been fixed and the services are now restored completely.

Sprint Nextel has also confirmed that the outage was faced by some of their customers.
