Best Buy, Canada’s fastest growing retailer and e-tailer of consumer electronics is moving into the automated kiosk field with the launch of the Best Buy Express. The launch will start with six kiosks at Toronto Pearson International Airport in both terminals this month with plans for expansion throughout the year.

Best Buy Express will offer more than 60 product skus including headphones, chargers, MP3 players, iPods, travel adaptors and more. If you’ve ever forgotten your phone charger while travelling or wished you’d picked up a pair of noise-cancelling headphones for a long flight, the Best Buy Express is the perfect solution for the frequent traveller.

“We are always on the lookout for new and innovative shops and services that we can bring to the airport,” said Janine Gervais, General Manager of Retail for the GTAA. “Many of our guests are moving through the airport quickly and are looking for efficient shopping options. The Best Buy Express kiosks will fill that need for these guests while providing them with well-known, name brand products they can trust.”

On Friday, March 30, Best Buy and Toronto Pearson International Airport will be celebrating the launch of the Best Buy Express with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Terminal 1 in the Domestic Departures beginning at 10 a.m. During this time we will be offering a one-day only 10 per cent off coupon for products in the Express Kiosk.

All Kiosk prices are consistent with in-store on online pricing and promotions.
