Bell Microproducts, a leading storage-centric, value-added distributor, announced that it has joined a very select group of North American distributors authorized to license Microsoft’s complete Windows Embedded Solutions to its customers. Industrial OEM and System Integrator customers will derive direct benefits from this key partnership as Bell Microproducts continues to deliver on its commitment to offering world-class solutions to these markets via its Industrial Value Added Services Division.

Until now, Bell Microproducts’ relationship with Microsoft has consisted of distributing Microsoft Office, Windows and MediaCenter software products to PC system builders through Bell Micro’s commercial division. “We’re extremely proud to have been named an authorized distributor for Microsoft Windows Embedded solutions,” said Jerry Kagele, Executive Vice President, Computer Products and OEM Divisions. “Being recognized as Microsoft channel partner further strengthens our position as a top-tier distributor. And by expanding our Microsoft portfolio to include complete Windows Embedded solutions, we have also made a tremendous leap in our corporate commitment to growing our Industrial OEM and System Integrator customer base.”

“We are pleased to see that Bell Microproducts has invested in becoming a trained, authorized distributor of Microsoft embedded products. We’ve been utilizing Bell Micro’s Value Added Services for years, and now they’ll be able to offer us a broader array of new offerings in the embedded space.
