Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc., announced that it was named AMD’s top-performing global distributor during the recent AMD Executive Forum 2009, held in Austin, Texas. AMD selected Avnet for this honor based on its ability to expand AMD’s market presence and revenues globally. AMD also awarded Avnet three regional distinctions, naming Avnet as distributor of the year in ANZ, EMEA and North America.
