Appcara, a provider of multi-cloud and application automation solutions, announced that AppStack, its turnkey software-defined application platform, has been renamed App360. Now available in Version 3.12, the new release of App360 includes capacity limit controls for OpenStack and CloudStack, as well as improved capacity reporting, easier CloudStack integration and more.

App360 is the industry's most efficient solution for deploying and managing enterprise applications in public and private clouds. Available in editions for service providers, enterprises and as an appliance, the platform improves application management over the complete app lifecycle. App360 can be used by developers employing an agile DevOps methodology to accelerate products to market; by corporate end-users to perform self-service application provisioning; and by cloud service providers to offer intelligent application services to their customers.

"The name App360 better communicates the holistic, 360-degree nature of our product," stated John Yung, CEO and founder, Appcara. "App360's deep integration with cloud computing platforms like OpenStack and CloudStack, along with its end-to-end feature set, allows users to deploy and manage mission-critical applications in the cloud with complete visibility and control."

With App360, users can easily launch enterprise apps into any cloud or multi-cloud environment, thereby solving one of the major challenges of cloud computing. Its patent-pending, model-driven technology lets users package, deliver and manage multi-tiered and multi-server applications; furthermore, App360 includes an App Marketplace of over 60 pre-packaged apps in a wide variety of categories, for easy self-provisioning of the most popular enterprise applications.

App360 Version 3.12 adds a number of features and enhancements for improved multi-cloud management. The new OpenStack/CloudStack capacity limit controls include limitation settings for Instances, CPI, RAM, Storage and Volumes, while capacity checking and reporting capabilities allow for daily auto-caching of limits and usage data, among other items. The new version also allows CloudStack users to easily make CPU and memory changes in virtual machines.
