-Ambrella, Inc. will be demonstrating Imagizer Media Engine, their new on-demand Cloud Based Image processing software that runs on user's own AWS virtual environment, at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) later this week.

In today's App world, images are becoming a "universal language." Web and Mobile application developers face the need to implement some form of image processing and transformation to satisfy the need of variety of end-user owned platforms.

To address this issue, Ambrella Inc. released Imagizer Media Engine. This on-demand, easy to integrate solution is available on Amazon AWS marketplace, and there are no contracts or long-term commitments. Fees for using this cloud software are simply added to user's own AWS invoice.

"We believe that the Imagizer Engine is a game changer in the Image Processing market. It's easy to implement in your own application stack, while being cost effective and highly scalable," commented Jack Levin, Founder and CEO of Ambrella, Inc. "Imagizer takes the operational hurdles of image processing off the hands of your in-house teams, so they can focus on your core business. There are no upfront capital expenses, no contracts with this pay-as-you-go model, developers can scale Imagizer Media Engine up or down as required without any long-term commitment."

Since Imagizer Media Engine runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a cloud computing platform provided by Amazon.com, developers are able to scale their image processing infrastructure in just minutes.

"While developing the Shelfie app for iOS and Android, we were handling our own image processing and searched for a solution that would reduce development time and operational costs while providing real time full image processing features," said Peter Hudson, CEO/Founder of BitLit. "We found Imagizer Engine to be cost-effective AWS solution that allowed us to do super-fast on-demand image processing, on our own EC2 instances. In addition, it was important to find something that could be easily integrated with AWS S3, and Imagizer Engine did that out of the box."

Ambrella will be hosting a workshop on leveraging cloud-based image processing at APPNATION VII, the annual conference at CES 2016 devoted to business and consumer Apps that will take place at Sands Expo in Las Vegas on January 6-9. All show attendees are welcome to visit Ambrella at Booth 81613.
