Amazon has announced the launch of their Kindle eBook Reader in the Canadian market.
The company had incidentally launched the Kindle globally last month but Canada was for some reason excluded.
Amazon said that Kindle users in Canada would get access to Canadian newspapers and other localized content along with ebooks and periodicals.
The device is being offered at a price tag of USD 260.
Amazon has not revealed any deal with a mobile service provider to serve the customers in Canada.
