Absolute Software Corporation the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and data risk management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, today announced that Phil Gardner, Absolute's chief technology officer, will transition to an advisory role.

Mr. Gardner has served as chief technology officer at Absolute since 1997 where he was responsible for creating and architecting Absolute's unique Persistence technology and the SaaS platform that supports it.

The transition plan for Mr. Gardner will continue through the end of the calendar year during which time knowledge transfer and other operational processes will be transitioned to the leadership team within the Product Development team at Absolute. In his new advisory role, Mr. Gardner will assume the title of Absolute Distinguished Fellow.
