Stanley Cup® Playoffs Preview Day
The action will commence on Monday, April 13 with a full day of programming dedicated to a Stanley Cup® Playoffs Preview. Listeners can hear expert hockey talk, predictions and a full breakdown of the teams and players before the best teams of the 2015 season officially face off.
Hockey This Morning will start things off at 7 am EST with Hall of Famer Denis Potvin and Hockey Insiders Pierre McGuire and Mike Johnson, plus hosts Mike Ross and Mick Kern. Continuing the coverage, Scott Laughlin and NHL Alumni Matt Barnaby will host the The Power Play's Playoff Preview Show at 4 pm EST on April 14.
The 10th Annual ESPO Awards
Celebrating a decade on the air, the 10th annual ESPO Awards, hosted by hockey legend and SiriusXM NHL Network Radio host Phil Esposito, will air live at 3 pm EST on Tuesday, April 14. Joining Esposito will be The Power Play hosts Laughlin and Barnaby. Subscribers can hear all the awards, including the Gordie Howe MVP Award, Bobby Orr Award for Best Defenseman and more, plus all the award recipients, live on-air.
Stanley Cup Playoffs on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio
Starting April 15, live play-by-play action of all Stanley Cup® Playoffs games right through to the Stanley Cup® Final will air live on SiriusXM, including French broadcasts of all Montréal Canadiens' games.
Listeners can wake up every weekday morning to Hockey This Morning for a full recap and look at the previous nights' results, as well as all the upcoming action, including exclusive interviews from across the League.
Jim "Boomer" Gordon and Joe Thistel then bring their candid opinions, knowledge and insight from the night before on The Point, every weekday afternoon at 12 pm EST.
The Power Play with Scott Laughlin and Matthew Barnaby will air live each weekday at 4 pm EST with exclusive interviews from coaches, players and League officials with a breakdown of all the news from the day, and to set the stage for upcoming games each evening, as teams move on in hopes of taking home the coveted Stanley Cup®.
Every game will be followed by SiriusXM NHL Network's post-game analysis and highlights show Ice Cap, hosted by Ryan Paton, Nick Alberga, Eric Gage and Michelle Sturino.
