This is the first year Absolute Software has been included in this Magic Quadrant. Absolute Software is also positioned in the Visionaries quadrant of the Client Management Tools Magic Quadrant** by Gartner, Inc.
Absolute Software's MDM solution, Absolute Manage MDM, allows customers to remotely secure and manage all the mobile devices in their deployment including Android, iOS, and Windows® Phone devices. For inclusion in the May 23, 2013 Magic Quadrant for Mobile Device Management Software, vendor solutions were considered based on the following criteria: support for enterprise-class (non-carrier), branded, multiplatform support MDM (software or SaaS), with an emphasis on mobility, support for three different mobile OS platforms (not version), at least 500,000 devices licensed, five referenceable accounts, no more than 65 percent of revenue in one main geographic region or market, at least $8 million in MDM-specific revenue and 200 MDM customers, with one customer with 20,000 seats or more.
