A new iPhone app is turning people’s worlds upside-down — or at least their faces. With the official release of FaceFlip PRO (http://faceflip.net), users can flip, move, stretch, shrink and alter their faces in nine different ways, making endless combinations for a virtually unlimited supply of wacky photos ready to share with friends and family.
Available on the Apple App Store, FaceFlip PRO is an advanced face-altering app that allows users to take pictures of themselves or friends and then get creative. Beards on babies. Forehead mouths. Gigantic eyeballs in all the wrong places. FaceFlip PRO is responsible for some of the most LOL-worthy photos making the rounds on MMS, e-mail, and social media.
“FaceFlip PRO is new to the market, but it’s already driving big response,” stated Eric Perrine, who co-created FaceFlip PRO with Double TAPP co-owner Brian Molina. “We have received one great review after another, hilarious FaceFlip PRO photos are pouring in, and we’re ready to let everyone know there’s a new face altering app on the block that’s giving people more ways to create funny photos than ever before.”
FaceFlip PRO joins FaceFlip Free in Double TAPP’s line-up of iPhone apps. Though it doesn’t have as many face-flipping options as FaceFlip PRO, FaceFlip Free is a fun option for anyone wanting to get a feel for the app without purchasing the PRO version. But at just $0.99, FaceFlip PRO is a bargain compared to other face altering apps, which typically allow the user to apply just one effect to a photo or cost more than FaceFlip PRO.
To get started with FaceFlip PRO, the user simply takes a photo or uses an existing picture from the iPhone photo library. FaceFlip PRO automatically recognizes a face, and if it’s not quite aligned correctly, the user can use the built-in alignment points to zero in on the eyes, nose and mouth. From there, it’s as simple as clicking the “Flip” button and stretching, shrinking and rotating. FaceFlip Free flips the entire face; FaceFlip PRO includes separate “Flip” buttons for face, eyes, nose and mouth — or users can roll the dice and choose a random effect, which usually produces unexpectedly comical results.
