In a TripIt survey conducted prior to the launch of Kindle Fire, tablet devices were gaining popularity among TripIt users. At the time, more than 40 percent of travelers who use TripIt to keep their travel plans organized in one place had a Kindle; and another 51 percent owned an iPad.
