Storie, the new iPhone app and social network that lets people create and share photo narratives, today announced that it reached 100,000 downloads within the first month of launch. The company also announced ‘Stories Near Me,’ a new geo-location feature that lets people share and discover stories about the places around them.
“People love telling stories, an art as old as time itself, and images have been an extremely powerful tool in storytelling,” said Kuan Yong, founder and CEO of Storie. “Storie has given our users a simple yet powerful way to share everything from a family recipe to a life-changing experience.”
Stories can be shared within Storie’s rapidly growing community, or posted to other social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr), emailed and texted, and embedded on blogs and websites
