Online sources are reporting that both Facebook and Google are in talks to acquire Twitter.
However, Twitter has been pretty clear that they are not on sale. Instead, they would go for another round of investments if they are in need for money.
Online reports say that Google has been ready to shell out as much as USD 4 billion for Twitter.
It is very unlikely that Facebook would take on Google in outbidding them here.
There are also reports that DST is offering to invest USD 100 million in the company at a valuation of USD 4 billion.
