US based mobile service provider Sprint has revealed that they would launch mobile devices capable of using their 4G networks in the US market this year.
Sprint and Clearwire are using WiMax networks for their 4G technology backend. AT&T and Verizon on the other hand are going to rely on LTE.
Sprint is already offering WiMax services in several areas in the US market.
The company is aiming to have some devices capable of using these networks in the first half of 2010.
