Buckingham Palace now has an official account on the popular social networking service Twitter.
They are now updating on the @BritishMonarchy twitter account.
British Royal Family representatives said that they decided to open this account to harness the popularity of Twitter to post updates about the royal family.
However, none of the family members would be posting on this account personally.
The account as a result is an official voice of the Buckingham Palace.
